Founded in 2001, the École Supérieure d’Optique et de Lunetterie (ESOL) has quickly become a leading institution in higher education for optics and eyewear training.
A Professionalising Curriculum with an Employability Rate of over 80%
ESOL offers a comprehensive training program that includes the BTS Opticien Lunetier, a Professional License in Optical Professions, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Administration, all available as work-study options. This program combines technical, aesthetic, and interpersonal components, meeting the demands of a sector that primarily recruits on permanent contracts.
With a low unemployment rate, over 80% of graduates find employment within weeks of completing their training.
The success of the program is built on a strong network of partners in the optical industry, including optical shops, optometry laboratories, and companies specializing in eyewear design and manufacturing. As a sign of ESOL’s successful establishment and the confidence in our training, optical stores directly approach our teams for their recruitment needs.
A Committed Dijon-Based Director: Amélie CLEMENT
After training in Jura, Amélie CLEMENT moved to Dijon early in her career, where she has since built a strong network of professional partners as an optician, teacher, and educational coordinator in optical training, and later as an optometry assistant. She now passionately and dedicatedly leads the Dijon campus.
As a trained optician, I am committed to enabling the students of ESOL Dijon to acquire the theoretical knowledge and technical skills necessary for successfully completing their diploma.
