Formation & Santé hosted its first CV-Free Recruitment Day dedicated to Dental Assistants on March 9th, in association with dental surgeons and in partnership with the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region and France Travail.
Lyon – Formation & Santé recently held an innovative recruitment day in Lyon, aimed at addressing the recruitment challenges faced by dental surgeons for dental assistant positions. This event, built around an original concept, allowed candidates to start their recruitment process with a complete immersion into the daily routine of the profession.
Addressing Recruitment Challenges
Dental surgeons, facing a shortage of candidates for the role of dental assistant, saw this event as an ideal opportunity to discover talents who struggle in traditional recruitment processes. With nearly 80 positions to fill in Lyon and its surroundings, Marie-Charlotte Angonin, Director of Formation & Santé and initiator of the event, emphasizes the importance of rethinking recruitment to better promote the profession and attract a diverse rangeg of candidates.
An Innovative Format
The event featured a series of practical workshops, designed in collaboration with dental surgeons, to immerse participants in typical activities of a dental practice, such as patient reception, appointment scheduling, and the use of specialized equipment. This approach allows candidates to demonstrate their suitability for the role in a concrete and engaging way.
A success and promising prospects for participants: More than 200 people attended the March 9th event, making it a resounding success. Following the event, selected participants will be connected with dental surgeons partners of Formation & Santé and offered the opportunity to undergo a 18-month training course, funded and paid, to become qualified dental assistants.
