Dental Assistants
The Dental Assistant plays a crucial role in the operation of a dental practice.
The dental assistant supports the dentist during patient care, manages appointments, handles administrative tasks, and ensures that equipment is ready for use. The average number of dental assistants per dentist in France is steadily increasing.
The training for dental assistants aims to prepare candidates for the professional title n°38144 recognized in the National Register of Professional Certifications (RNCP), with a duration of 18 months. This training can only be delivered by institutions with local accreditation granted by the National Commission for dental practice (CPNEFP – Commission Paritaire Nationale de l’Emploi et de la Formation Professionnelle).
The training is provided through a work-study contract and is mandatory to work in dental practices. The demand for dental assistants in France is strong, driven by the growing consolidation of dental practices. Reflecting the increasing impact of dental assistants within practices, an additional Level 2 training program for qualified dental assistants is expected to be introduced soon.
We are present in more than fifteen cities across France, with each new opening subject to approval by the National Commission, following an audit of the structure. All our institutions hold the status of training organizations and are Qualiopi cerfied.
